Our Story

Small but perfectly formed, Jannaway Freelancing is a family affair. 

Rachel Jannaway - Founder, Director and Business Consultant (the brains)

Jonathan Jannaway - Long suffering husband and from 1 January 2024 Director providing additional back office support and board level challenge (the brawn).  Jonathan is a self-employed HGV driver who has been running his own business since 2015.

Pippa-dog and Minnie-dog - Barketing and Therapy Team (our 2 labradors and the best four legged friends)

The company was formed by Rachel Jannaway, who has over 20 years experience as a business manager, project manager and learning and development consultant. A member of the Project Management Institute, she holds BA (Hons) Business Administration, NVQ Level 4 in Learning and Development, Business Improvement & Six Sigma Green Belt and PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner qualifications.

Jannaway Freelancing was born out of a desire to help people see the benefits of change and innovation in business.

The company was started in March 2023.  Our ethos is to empower and enable others to embrace change with positivity and confidence. 

We are part of our community. We are a small business.  We support other small businesses.  

Partnerships and collaboration are a key part of our way of working. 

We are members of the Federation of Small Businesses, Oxford STEM Network, Project Management Institute, Barclay's Eagle Labs, Reloop and Business Women In.

Giving back and volunteering is very important to us.  We through our founder Rachel support the following organisations:

Highworth Forget-me-not Cafe: As a helper

Lambourn Volunteers: As a helper 

Lye Christadelphian Camp: As a camp leader
